Project Manager - Farm-to-Military Value Chain Development

We are seeking a mission-driven Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of this complex, multi-state food systems project. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of coordination, stakeholder engagement, program or study oversight, and value chain development experience, particularly in local food systems or institutional procurement. This role will serve as the operational hub for the Farm-to-Military initiative—connecting farmers to National Guard units, facilitating partner collaboration, managing communication and work plans, and ensuring timely reporting and compliance with project objectives.

  • Location: Remote, with periodic in-person coordination (multi-state focus)
  • Pay: $50 - $60 per hour, based on experience
  • Estimated Time Commitment: 25-30 hours/week
  • Duration: September 2025 – October 2026 (with potential for extension)
